Mr. Reynaldo "Nayo" Gonzales,72, entered eternal rest on Sunday, December 9, 2018 surrounded by his family at the Amara Hospice Center in Edinburg. Reynaldo was born on February 9, 1946 in Edinburg to Luis Gonzales and Guadalupe (Velis) Gonzales. Nayo, as he was known by his family and friends, was a life long resident of Edinburg. Nayo was a long time mechanic in Edinburg. He enjoyed fishing but above all mechanics and music was his passion.

Nayo was preceded in death by his parents, his son-Javier Guzman, and a brother Luis Gonzales Jr.

Left to cherish Nayo's memory is his wife Jovita G. Gonzales; daughters-Cynthia (Jessie) Gonzales, Sonia Gonzales (David) Ruiz; Grandchildren-Apolinar Rodriguez,Jr., Jacobo Rodriguez, Miguel A. Rodriguez, Marie Santie Rodriguez, Gabriella S. Ruiz, Alicia M. Ruiz; Siblings- Daniel (Maria) Gonzales, Eliberto (Licha) Gonzales, Rafaela (Pedro) Villarreal, Chepa Gonzales and numerous of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service in honor of  Reynaldo will take place on Monday, December 10, 2018 at Legacy Chapels, 4610 South Jackson Rd. in Edinburg from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.                                                                  .

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
