JOSE CRUZ
EDINBURG - Jose Cruz, 69, went to be with our Lord, Friday October 12, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his family. Born in Donna, he had lived in Edinburg most of his life. Mr. Cruz is preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Ramona Cruz; his brother Baudelio Duarte.
Mr. Cruz is survived by his wife, Guadalupe Cruz; three children, Mary (Gene) Hernandez, Jose (Eva) Cruz Jr., and Alfredo (Nora) Cruz; six grandchildren, Elijah, Joshua, Abigail, Jaciel, Jason, and Julissa; his brother, Humberto Duarte; his sister, Elida Renner; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Monday October 15, 2018 at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Graveside service will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday October 16, 2018 at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
