MCALLEN - Albino Quintero Lopez, 79, lost his battel to cancer. He fought the good fight. Mr. Quintero was surrounded by family as he took his last breath and went to heaven on Tuesday, September 25, 2018. Mr. Quintero set a great example to all of his family. He showed them the way a hardworking family man is suppose to be. He played professional baseball for many years. Albino was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in Mexcio. For now he has passed into the hall of heaven and rejoicing with loved ones that have gone before him. RIP, we will miss him greatly.

Mr. Quintero is survived by his wife, Bertha Quintero; two children, Jesus (Rosie) Quintero, and Claudia Quintero; five grandchildren.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
