FRANCISCA CRUZ EDINBURG - Francisca Cruz, 95, went to be with our Lord, Monday, September 18, 2017, in Edinburg. Born in Harlingen, Texas she had lived in Edinburg most of her life. Mrs. Cruz is preceded in death by her husband, Francisco Cruz; two sons, Felix Cruz and Pedro Cruz; two brothers, Raul Cortez and Alfredo Cruz; a sister, Maria Leonor Cano. Mrs. Cruz is survived by her four children, Raul (Enedina) Cruz, San Juanita Pesqueda, Guadalupe C. (Pedro) Cazarez and Francisco (Rosa) Cruz Jr.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 4 pm. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at Legacy Chapels. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
