SEVERO SOLIS EDINBURG - Severo Solis, 72, went to be with our Lord, Thursday, August 17, 2017, in Edinburg. Born in Dr. Coss, N.L., Mexcio he had lived in Edinburg most of his life. Mr. Solis is preceded in death by his parents, Lorenzo and Tomacita Solis; a brother, Ricardo Solis. Mr. Solis is survived by his wife, Cristela Solis, six children: Bertha (Sergio) Trigo, Juan (Leticia) Solis, Blanca (Gilberto) Martinez, Jose (Laura) Solis, Veronica (Nicolas) Solis and Severo (Elizabeth) Solis Jr.; fifteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; a brother, Eulalio Solis; a sister, Rebeca Solis; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with a 4 p.m. prayer service Friday, August 18, 2017, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, August 19, 2017, at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
