Solomon 3:4 EDINBURG - Rosalinda "Rose" Pena, 49, went to be with our Lord, Tuesday, July 25, 2017, in Edinburg surrounded by her family. Rose is preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Fidencia Pena. Father God, we give you Praise, Honor, and Glory for being our strength and guiding us always especially during this time of mourning our Precious Rosalinda Pena. We thank you Lord that she is happy and healthy in your presence rejoicing forever more. We thank you Sweet Jesus for being the love of Rosalinda's Soul and for giving her so much revelation of you and your kingdom. Rosalinda enjoyed traveling. One of her favorite spots was South Padre Island. The beach was like her second home. Rosalinda loved loved the water even from "the mangera" at home. Rosalinda had many babies, some of those babies were her plants. Watering her plants, talking to her plants, taking care of her plants made her happy. Being outdoors made Rosalinda happy. Rosalinda truely loved all of her cousins, all of her nieces & nephews, all her relatives and friends. She loved being around us all as much as possible. Rosalinda was and even now moreso in love with Jesus Christ. She was a Jesus fanatic, she led the way to Christ in her own way, she taught us Jesus is the way the truth and the life. Mrs. Pena is survived by her daughter, Vanessa Garza; close friend, Jaime Perez; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Cremation will take place at a later date.
