GUILLERMO "WILLIE" RECIO HIDALGO - Guillermo "Willie" Recio, 78, went to be with our Lord, Saturday, July 8, 2017, in McAllen surrounded by his family. Born in Anahuac, N.L., Mexico he had lived in Hidalgo for most of his life. Mr. Recio is preceded in death by his parents, Ramiro and Virginia Recio. Mr. Recio is survived by his wife, Francisca Recio; two children: Bertha (Jose Luis) Alaffa and Oscar (Veronica) Recio; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Juanita Limon; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Monday, July 10, 2017, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hidalgo. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
