RUFINO "CUNI" MUÑOZ EDINBURG - Rufino "Cuni" Muñoz, 67, went to be with our Lord, Saturday, June 24, 2017, in Edinburg surrounded by his family. Mr. Muñoz is preceded in death by his parents, Leonardo and Santos Muñoz. Mr. Muñoz is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Muñoz; five children: Rufino Muñoz, Jr., Roel (Vanessa) Muñoz, Cris (Frank) Garza, Belinda Muñoz and Sue (John) Saenz; eight grandchildren: Leah, Peyton, Lucas, Diesel, Charles, Aubrey, Chevelle and Andrew; four brothers: Clemente (Fidela) Muñoz, Leonardo (Maria) Muñoz, Jr., Daniel (Minerva) Muñoz and Miguel (Juana) Muñoz; three sisters: Ambrosia Muñoz, Virginia Muñoz and Rosalinda Muñoz and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Monday, June 26, 2017, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at Legacy Chapels. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
