Mrs. Magnolia Willingham,54, went to be with the Lord on Saturday April 1, 2017 in McAllen surrounded by her family. She was born on May 25,1962 in Reynosa, Tamp. Mexico to Ezequiel Villa and Emma Garcia.
She was a past resident of California and Louisiana, residing in Edinburg for the past ten years.
Magnolia enjoyed making ceramics, reading, crocheting and helping her husband teach Sunday School. While in Louisiana she taught close friends to cook Mexican food while attending Bedico Baptist Church in the Cafe Cafe kitchen.
She was preceded in death by her father and a brother Baldemar Villa. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 36 years Mr. Frank C. Willingham; daughters Vanessa Willingham and Magnolia Knight, a granddaughter Lilliana Ema Knight; her brothers-Ezequiel, Joel, and Ithiel Villa, five sisters Isalia Nunez, Miroslava Navarro, Nereda Ruiz, Rosalva Hernandez, and Marlen Villa and her mother Emma G. Villa.
Visitation will be on Monday April 3, 2017 at Legacy Chapels ,4610 S. Jackson Rd. in Edinburg from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM. Funeral service will be on Tuesday April 4, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Legacy Chapels with interment to follow to Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery.
