Cayetano Lopez San Juan - Cayetano Lopez, 82, went to be with our Lord on Friday, December 30, 2016, at his residence in San Juan surrounded by his family. He was born on August 12, 1934, in Mexico to Refugio and Refugia Lopez. He had lived in San Juan for most of his life. Mr. Lopez was preceded in death by his son, Juan Carlos Lopez; his parents; two sisters, Josefina Lopez and Elena Baez; a brother, Tomas Lopez. Mr. Lopez is survived by his wife of 61 years, Martha Castillo Lopez; his children, Juan Lopez, Cayetano Lopez Jr., Maria Castillo, Manuel Lopez, Arturo Lopez, Tomas Lopez, Ernesto Lopez, Francisco Lopez, Elizabeth Ordonez, Gisela Santellan, Armando Lopez, and Laura Lozano; his sisters, Patrocina Salinas and Narcisa Andrade; 37 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service on Monday January 2, 2017 at Legacy Chapels,4610 South Jackson Rd. in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday January 3, 2017 at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
