Ashley Ortuño Pharr - Ashley Ortuño, 16, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2016, in Pharr. Ashley was a student at Idea Academy in San Juan. Ashley is survived by her parents, Alfredo and Flor Ortuño; a sister, Iris Ortuño; a brother, Dwane Ortuño; paternal grandmother, Olga Ortuño; maternal grandparents, Alfonso and Veronica Castillo; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Monday, August 8, 2016, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. at Saint Francis Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
