ELIZABETH "Eli-Shalom" PRADO ZUNIGA PENITAS - Elizabeth "Eli-Shalom" Prado Zuniga, 54, went to be with our Eternal Father, Saturday, June 18, 2016, in Mission surrounded by her family. Born in Monterrey, N.L., Mexico she had lived in Penitas for the past six years after many years of missionary work. Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents, Raul and Modesta Prado. Ms. Prado is survived by her four children, Raul (Edith) Hernandez Prado, Ruth Elizabeth Hernandez Prado, Eli (Yudith) Hernandez Prado and Isamel Hernandez Prado; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Jacinto and Abel Prado; a sister, Carmen T. Prado; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5p.m to 9p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service Monday, June 20, 2016, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at Legacy Chapels. Interment will follow at San Jose Cemetery in Mission. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
