Pauline Gomez

EDINBURG - Pauline Gomez 88 passed away on Friday, November 23, 2012 at her Edinburg residence surrounded by her husband and family. Pauline was born on July 1, 1924 in Littlefield, Texas to Guillermo and Maria Thompson. She resided in Edinburg, Texas most of her life and was a member of Abundant Grace Community Church in Edinburg. She is preceded in death by her loving son Jerry Gomez and her son in-law Rodolfo Arebalo. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Juan Gomez; children, Betty Sanchez, John Gomez, (Patricia) Bert Garcia, Jim Gomez (Carol), Jesse Gomez (Ann), Leroy Gomez (Gloria), David Gomez (Leticia), Barbara Ortiz (Christopher), and Viola Arebalo as well as 25 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Friends are invited to attend a visitation with the family on Monday, November 26th 2012 between the hours of five o'clock in the afternoon and nine o'clock in the evening at Legacy Chapels, 4610 S. Jackson Rd., Edinburg (956)-618-5900. A prayer service will be at seven o'clock in the evening and will be available online at www.legacychapelsrgv.com Chapel Service will be on Tuesday, November 27th 2012 at ten o'clock in the morning at Legacy Chapels. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral Service are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
