Rosa Cantu

ROSA ELIA CANTU EDINBURG - Rosa Elia Cantu, 76, went to be with our Lord, Sunday, May 29, 2016, in McAllen surrounded by her family. Born in China, N.L., Mexico she had lived in Edinburg most of her life. Rosa is preceded in death by her two sons, Baldemar and Alfredo Cantu Jr.; her parents, Sindulfo and Brigida Lozano; two brothers, Ramiro and Felix Lozano. Mrs. Cantu is survived by her seven children; Rosa Margarita Cantu, Amado Cantu, Juanita Monica (Ruben) Salinas, Diamantina (Gerardo) Montoya, Lorena Cantu, Esmeralda (Javier) Magallan, Hector Cantu; 23 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; seven sisters, Pacina, Sofia, Antonia, Gloria, Nelly, Aurora and Norma Lozano; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 2, 2016, at Legacy Chapels. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
