MCALLEN - Carlos Alvarez,Ortega 68, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, April 5, 2016. He is survived by his 15 children, Christian Yunuen Alvarez, Ruth Alvarez, Elizabeth Alvarez, Joshua Emanuel Alvarez, Carlos Alvarez, Jr., Jesus Israel Alvarez, Veronica Alvarez Soto, Maria Angelica Alvarez Soto, Jose Neftali Alvarez Soto, Flor Adriana Alvarez Soto, Claudia Alvarez Acosta, Laura Alvarez Acosta, Sandra Alvarez Acosta, Alejandra Alvarez Acosta and Jennifer Alvarez; and 23 grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with at 1 p.m. funeral service Friday, April 8, 2016, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
