ELMA ROJAS HIDALGO - Elma Rojas, 65, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016, in McAllen surrounded by her family. Elma was born February 18, 1951 in McAllen to Constantino and Sara Escobedo de Rojas. She was a hard working woman and her colorful sense of humor would brighten your life. Elma will be will be greatly missed and will be forever in our hearts. Special thanks to the Texas Department of Public Safety Commercial Vehicle Enforcement of Pharr for all the support during this difficult time. Elma is survived by her daughter, Melissa Rojas; her parents; five sisters, Amelia Rojas, Criselda Maria Nunez, Alicia Castro, Argelia Baldobinos and Maribel Rojas; six brothers, Constantino Rojas Jr., Leo Rojas, Javier Rojas, Ramiro Rojas, Roberto Rojas and Roel Rojas; 56 nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 3pm to 9pm with a 7pm prayer service Thursday, March 17, 2016, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 11am Friday, March 18, 2016, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
