Jesus Salinas Edinburg - Jesus Salinas, 77, went to be with our Lord, Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at his residence in Edinburg surrounded by his family. Born in La Palmita, N.L., Mexico he had lived in Edinburg most of his life. Mr. Salinas is preceded in death by his parents: Antonio and Celestine Salinas; two brothers, Leandro and Alfredo Salinas. Mr. Salinas is survived by his wife of 42 years, Alicia Salinas; a son Juan Antonio (Sughey) Salinas; a daughter, Noemi (Hugo) Morales; four grandchildren, Juan A., Matthew Salinas, Hugo and Miranda Morales; two brothers, Pedro Salinas and Arcadio Salinas; a sister, Ernestina Salinas; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5pm to 9pm with a 7pm prayer service on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10am Thursday, February 18, 2016, at Legacy Chapels. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
