Monica Soliz-Prestwood

Monica Soliz-Prestwood, 30, died Tuesday, February 2, 2016, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. She is preceded in death by her mother, Martha Yolanda Soliz. Monica is survived by her 3 daughters, Desiree Elizabeth Prestwood, Yolanda Yvonne Prestwood and Kaila Alexia Prestwood; and by her father, Ramiro Soliz. Visitation will take place from 3 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. talk Thursday, February 4, 2016, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2016, at Roselawn Cemetery in McAlen. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
