MARIA E. GARZA EDINBURG - Maria E. Garza, 80, went to be with our Lord, Tuesday, July 19, 2016, in Edinburg surrounded by her family. Born in General Bravo, N.L., Mexico she had lived in Edinburg most of her life. Mrs. Garza is preceded in death by her parents, Estanislao and Jacinta Saenz. Mrs. Garza is survived by her husband, Leonel Garza; four children, Maria Dolores Casarez, Marianela Pena, Cecilio Pena and Mario Alberto Pena; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 21, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
