ANDRES "ANDY" RODRIGUEZ SR. MCALLEN - Andres "Andy" Rodriguez Sr., 91, has transitioned into his eternal home in heaven on Saturday, September 3, 2022. Andy was born to Cecilio and Adela Rodriguez and had three siblings, Francisco Martinez, Elvira Tijerina, and Juan Rodriguez; his beloved wife of 63 years, Beatrice Aucoin Rodriguez, all of whom preceded him in death. Mr. Rodriguez is survived by his four children, Andy (Ileana) Rodriguez, Ralph (Nancy) Rodriguez, Rose Ortega and James Rodriguez; seven grandchildren, Nichol (Carlos) Gonzalez, Ralph (Johana) Rodriguez Jr., James (Clarissa) Rodriguez, Christopher (Michelle) Rodriguez, Michael Rodriguez, David Ortega, and Aaron (Desirae) Rodriguez; five great-grandchildren, Isela, Alondra, Gabi, Eli, and Alayna; numerous nephews, nieces and a special mention to Ramiro Cano and Nora T. Anzaldua. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, September 9, 2022, and Monday September 12, 2022, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission with full military honors. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
