Edinburg, Texas Ramon Romo, Jr., 53, entered eternal rest on Thursday, June 30, 2022, in Edinburg. Ramon was preceded in death by his father, Ramon Romo Sr. He lived in Edinburg for most of his life. Ramon loved fishing, hunting, watching the Dallas Cowboys and spending time with his family and grand kids. He lived life to the fullest. Ramon is survived by his wife Alicia Cano; his children, Victoria (Hugo) Rico, Danyelle Cano, and Dylan Cano; 3 grandchildren, Ramon Siller Rico, Skylar Reign Rico and Alyson Rico; his mother, Maria Elena Romo; six siblings- Eddie Romo, Raul Romo, Rudy Romo, Lisa (Danny) Salazar, Gloria (Michael) Villarreal, and Lulu (Gabriel) Campos. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2022, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 8, 2022, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
