LAURO GUADALUPE GUAJARDO PHARR- Lauro Guadalupe Guajardo, 46, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 in McAllen. Mr. Guajardo was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Pantaleon and Cristina Guajardo; maternal grandparents, Domingo Cantu and Maria L. Uribe; mother-in-law, Maria E. Almazan. Mr. Guajardo is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Silvia Almazan-Guajardo; parents, Leonel and Juanita Guajardo; four siblings, Leonel R. Guajardo, Jorge L. Guajardo, Ana L. Guajardo and Loyda N. Guajardo; father-in-law, Jose Almazan; two sister-in-laws, Nellie Gurrola and Mirella Rios; 18 nieces and nephews; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Lauro enjoyed traveling, family gatherings, cooking, singing and horse races. He was a man of great faith. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at St. Jude Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Pallbearers will be Leonel Guajardo Jr., Jorge L. Guajardo, Alan Guajardo, Christian Guajardo, Darian Solis and Dariel Solis. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
