MATTHEW "MATT" VENTURA MCALLEN- Matthew Benito Ventura, 35, entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 24, 2022 surrounded by his family. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Cruz (Irene) Ventura and Daniel(Rosa) Pesina. Matt loved music, art, dancing, making people laugh, and he loved his family and friends fiercely. He enjoyed his daily conversations with his Dad, Mom, and sisters multiple times a day. His children meant the world to him and loved them dearly and whole heartedly. Matt was the jack of all trades and was very creative. He could fix anything and if he didn’t know how he would make it up as he went. Matt and his family had recently become closer to God and had been attending church regularly. Matt is survived by his parents; Benito (Betty) Ventura and William (Irene) Gaskill, his wife; Catalina De Aquino, his children Eliza Marie, Matthew Benito Jr., Lilyanah Grey, and Leah Gwynn Ventura his sisters; Diane Ventura (Fernando Trevino), Cindy Ventura (Gustavo Alfaro) nieces and nephews Naomi Ventura, Alexis Salazar, Marcus Alfaro, Sofia Alfaro, Gihanna, Reynelle, and Emily Trevino. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He will forever be missed by all. "Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all you're anxiety on him because he cares for you." 1 Peter 5:6-7 A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Legacy Chapels located at 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. with a 2 p.m. celebration of life service. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels.
