ROBERTO PEDRO RAMIREZ EDINBURG- Roberto Pedro Ramirez, 80, entered eternal rest on Saturday, May 21, 2022 surrounded by his family in Edinburg. Pedro was born June 7, 1941 to Andres and Rafaela Ramirez. He was a lifelong resident of Edinburg. Pedro worked for 36 years at International Paper Company. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Perfecta G. Ramirez; parents, Andres and Rafaela Ramirez. Mr. Ramirez is survived by his three children, Marivel R. (Fred) Garza, Jerry Lee Ramirez and Robert P. (Idalia) Ramirez Jr.; five grandchildren, Carlos Lee (Alejandra) Garza, Kassandra Renee (Bryan) Balli, Corina Aliz Garza, Gloria Lynn (Dominic) Estrada and Anthony Ramirez; two great-grandchildren, Arri Odette Garza and Avi Anette Garza; three brothers, Juan Andres Ramirez, Felix Rafael Ramirez and Santiago Raul Ramirez; three sisters, Elma Ramirez, Carmen Martinez and Raquel Morales; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens 4607 North Sugar Road in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels.
