MARIO RUIZ SAN JUAN - Mario Ruiz, 70, died Wednesday, October 28, 2015, in McAllen surrounded by his family. Born in San Agustine, N.L., Mexico and formerly of Houston, Texas he had lived in San Juan for the past ten years. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Maura Elizabeth Ruiz and his parents, Pedro and Maura Ruiz. Mr. Ruiz is survived by his wife, Maria Del Carmen Ruiz; six children, Mario Ruiz Jr., Carmen Ruiz, Laura Ruiz, Veronica Ruiz, Hiram Ruiz and David Ruiz; numerous grandchildren and a great-child; a brother, Cesar Ruiz. No public services will be held. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
