VICTOR "APA" HERNANDEZ SR. EDINBURG- Victor "Apa" Hernandez Sr., 88, went to his eternal home with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday, April 28, 2022 in Edinburg surrounded by his family. Mr. Hernandez was preceded in death by his son, Victor Hernandez Jr.; parents, Pablo Hernandez and Agustina Polanco. Mr. Hernandez is survived by his loving wife, Francisca Hernandez; 15 children, Rosalinda (Max) Colon, Rosavel (Erasmo) Singleterry, Rogelio (Sylvia) Hernandez, Rosalva (Armando) Villarreal, Ricardo (Santos) Hernandez, Anabel (Frank) Treviño, Maria Esmeralda Hernandez, Diana (Jose Armando) Caceres, Dora (Benito) Rodriguez, Jose Alfredo (Noelia) Hernandez, Aida (Miguel) Sanchez, Yolanda (Adan) Silva, Ester (Roberto) Gonzalez, Olegario (Sandra) Cantú and Richard (Gloria) Lozano; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Pablo (Alicia) Hernandez Jr.; three sisters, Nena (Rogelio) Mendez, Ester Garcia and Margarita (Cesar) Gonzalez; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Sunday May 1, 2022 at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 2, 2022 at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
