Rev. Sergio M. Bautista, 67, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, September 27, 2015, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. Rev. Bautista is survived by his wife, Carina Miriam B. Bautista; his children, Caryser James (Stephanie) Bautista, Joshua Ian Bautista, Cherry Myr Bautista, Olivia Ivy Bautista and Mark Bautista; two grandchildren, Carynie and Mutya Bautista; 10 siblings, Dr. Cedric Bautista, Magdalena Buentipo, Attorney Arthur Bautista, Vicky Saclolo, Dr. Maynarda Yamat, Manuel Bautista, Meyma Bautista, Mayor Marco Bautista, Dr. Maximillan Bautista and Edna Timbreza. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m.with a 7 p.m. praise and worship celebration today, September 29, 2015, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday September 30, 2015, at Baptist Temple (2001 Trenton Rd. McAllen). Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park (6705 FM 88, Weslaco).
