Luz Saenz Silva

LUZ SAENZ SILVA EDINBURG - Luz Saenz Silva, 92, entered eternal rest on Sunday March 6th, 2022, in Mission surrounded by her family. Mrs. Silva was preceded in death by her husband Jose Silva; her parents, Quirino and Dionicia Saenz. She was a loving mother who was always there for everybody. Her strong character and independence marked her life. She will always be remembered as "abuela Luz". Mrs. Silva is survived by her sons, Enrique (Elvira) Silva, Jose Luis (Consuelo) Silva, and Sergio Saul (Elizabeth) Silva; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; numerous brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Selah Hospice Care for all their help during Luz's illness. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Monday, March 14, 2022, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
