HECTOR JAVIER BANDA MERCEDES- Hector Javier Banda, 68, went to his eternal home with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ Wednesday, January 19, 2022 in Harlingen. Mr. Banda was preceded in death by his parents, Osbaldo and Maria Banda; his brother, Ramiro Banda. Mr. Banda is survived by his children, Jorge Banda, Hector Javier Banda Jr., Mary Angela Banda, Valentin Banda and Mayra Alejandra Banda; 16 grandchildren; six siblings, Rosa, Juan Jose, Elio, Francisca, Blanca and Elsa Banda; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
