ANIVAL PEREZ
EDINBURG- Anival Perez, 52, went to his eternal home with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ Wednesday, January 12, 2022 in Edinburg. Mr. Perez was preceded in death by his parents, Alberto and Alicia Perez; father-in-law, Miguel Jimenez Esquivel; brother-in-law, Miguel Jimenez Jr.; nephew, Matthew Adam Jimenez.
Anival was a loving and affectionate husband, father, and grandfather. He worked 35 years in the HVAC industry, 12 of these most recent years were with Goodman, MFG. On his free time, he enjoyed creating fond memories at home with his family and friends hosting many gatherings and barbecues, but he especially treasured bonding with his children. His passions included traveling and dancing with his soulmate Nidia, fishing, and hunting at his family’s ranch, La Nopalosa and El Becerro, with his loved ones. He adored every second with his granddaughter Hannah “Banana” and he took great pleasure in spoiling his English bulldog Yeti. He left a lasting legacy that will be greatly missed by his family, friends and the many lives he touched.
Mr.Perez is survived by his beloved highschool sweetheart of 36 years and wife of 33 years, Nidia P. Perez; children, Joshua L. (Gabriela) Perez, Joseph J. (Cassandra) Perez and Jade N. Perez; grandchildren, Hannah E. Perez and Adelyn R. Ramirez, expectant grandchildren, Zachary and Zoey Perez; siblings, Delia, Albert and Arnold Perez; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Thursday, January 20, 2022, and Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. January 21, 2022 at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Inurnment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Reception to follow at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
