MARIA EVA GARCIA EDINBURG- Maria Eva Garcia, 92, went to her eternal home with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ Sunday, January 9, 2022 in Edinburg. Mrs. Garcia was preceded in death by her husband, Rodrigo Garcia; parents, Ruperto and Maria Del Carmen Rodriguez; five brothers, Ramiro, Moises, Refugio, Ruperto Jr. and Noe Rodriguez;two sisters, Marcelina Rodriguez and Irene Rodriguez. Ama was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. She emphasized the importance of God, family, and unconditional love. Her doors were always open to anyone who needed her guidance or her prayers. She followed the Lord's path all her life but is now in Heaven looking down upon us all. So, when you are sad and missing her, just remember Ama saying "los quiero a todos". Mrs. Garcia is survived by her children, Maria (Fred) Rios, Rodrigo (Linda) Garcia, Rogelio Garcia, Rodolfo (Mary) Garcia, Ruben Garcia, Rafael (Mary) Garcia, Estela (Joe) Vasquez, Ricardo (Alicia) Garcia, Elvia (Leo) Navarro, Olga (Eloy) Cruz, Victor (Heather) Garcia, Oralia (Rey) Sendejo, Jorge (Lori) Garcia, Roel Garcia and Roberto (Patricia) Garcia; 40 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren; sister, Olivia Navarro; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, January 14, 2022 at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
