Our precious mother, Imelda Velia Gaytan Jiménez was taken by our Heavenly Father to rest eternally on Wednesday December 15,2021 surrounded by her loving family in Edinburg Tx. Our beautiful mom was born January 6,1950 in McAllen Tx. She was a graduate of McAllen High School class of ‘68. Our mother took great pride working with South Western Bell for many years. She was very proud of her accomplishments until her retirement. Our mother loved her job.
Our mother had a heart of gold. Her loving, giving, funny and caring personality was visible to anyone that came across her. She took great pleasure trying to make all her family and friends feel loved and thought of she always checked on everyone with a phone call or text. Her goal in life was to make sure everyone knew she loved them. Our Mother loved her brother’s, sister’s, nephews and nieces very much she enjoyed family time, parties and long talks with them. The one trait that mostly defines our mother is the unconditional love she had for her children and grandchildren. There wasn’t a conversation you could have with her without her mentioning how proud she was of Melissa, Chacho(+) and Veronica and her pride and joy Carissa, Zoé , Nabor and Isaiah(+). Which she adored more than life itself. She also enjoyed being a grandma to Joey and Jennifer and always made them feel loved as one of her own. She was very grateful for the love and support of Joe, Lindsey and Joey gave her. Our mom adored and loved her dog Snowy very much. Our beloved mother will be greatly missed by her children, grandchildren , family and friends.
