MANUEL GOMEZ MCALLEN- Manuel Gomez, 97, died Sunday, June 21, 2015, in McAllen surrounded by his family. Born in Bustamante, N.L., Mexico he had lived in McAllen. Mr. Gomez is survived by his children; Benito Gomez, Evangelina Guajardo, Maria Mayer, Manuel Gomez Jr., Jose Luis Gomez, Joventina Patino, Alma Delia Gomez, Rogelio Gomez and Vianey Gomez. Visitation will be from 3pm to 9 pm with at 7pm prayer service Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 10am Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at Legacy. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
