JOSE LOERA EDINBURG - Jose Loera, 83, entered eternal rest Tuesday, July 20, 2021, in Edinburg. Mr. Loera was preceded in death by two daughters, Alicia Torres Loera, and Sylvia Loera; his son, Juan Loera; his parents, Juan and Carmen Loera; three siblings, Ester Zavala, Socorro Reyes, and Oralia Martinez. Mr. Loera is survived by his wife, Esperanza Torres Duarte; five children, Carlos Loera, Ricardo (Carolina Guevara) Loera, Victor Torres, Sergio Loera, and Griselda Loera; numerous grandchildren; six siblings, Aurora Loera, Concepcion Hernandez, Guadalupe Ortiz, Estela Martinez, Eva Loera, and Hector Loera; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Monday, July 26, 2021, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
