Noemi Maria Lopez

EDINBURG - Noemi M. Lopez, 75, was called home to our Lord, Thursday, March 26, 2015, surrounded by family. There is a new star shinning up above and all her family that went before her, are rejoicing for they are together now. Born in Puerto Rico, Texas, Noemi lived in Edinburg, and was a graduate of Edinburg High School and Pan American College. She was a member of many civic organizations. She is preceded in death by her parents, Domingo & Maria Lilia Lopez, sister, Lupita L. Medina and brother, Lauro Lopez. She is survived by her sisters, Dora (+Oscar) Trevino, Mary L. Tagle, brothers, Domingo (Maricela) Lopez, Jr., Leo Lopez, Johnny (Diana) Lopez and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 9:00pm with a 7:00pm rosary on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Legacy Funeral Home in Edinburg. A memorial mass will take place at 10:00am on Monday, March 30, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Access Esperanza Clinics or the Sister Carol Messina Scholarship at UTPA The family is in the care of Legacy Funeral Home in Edinburg.
