Maria Luisa Ayala ,74, entered eternal rest Saturday, April 17, 2021 surrounded by her beloved family at her home in McAllen. Mrs Maria Luisa was born June 21, 1946 in General Cepeda, Mexico to Pablo and Ambrosia (Hipolito) Sanchez. Maria Luisa was a life long resident of McAllen.She loved to cook, to garden, and loved to talk on the phone. Maria Luisa had a servants heart. Maria Luisa was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was also a cancer survivor. She was employed by the McAllen School district for many years as a cafeteria worker having worked at different schools throughout the district. She loved family gatherings, spending time with her beloved husband and her four sons. Maria Luisa had a strong catholic faith. She truly lived life to its fullest. Maria Luisa will forever be remembered by her family and those that came to know her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Her son Amando Ayala Jr.; Her Siblings- Manuel Sanches H., Josefina Sanches de Nucio.
Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband of 58 years; Mr. Amando Ayala; Her sons and their spouses- Esteban (Rebeka) Ayala, Israel (Christina) Ayala, Michael Kevin (April) Ayala; 13 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; Her nine Siblings-Rosa Sanches H., Bruna Sanches H., SanJuana Cano, Raquel Garza, Maria Lopez, Consuelo Rosales, Paulo Sanches H., Ramona Pena, Martha Sanches de Vecerra.
A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Legacy Chapels,4610 South Jackson Rd. in Edinburg from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a prayer service to begin at 6:00 PM. On Monday, April 26, 2021 recital of the Holy Rosary will begin at 12 noon. Funeral procession will depart at 2:15 PM to Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission where the burial will take place at 3:00 PM
