ALVARO SANCHEZ JR. EDINBURG - Alvaro Sanchez Jr., 60, entered eternal rest Thursday, March 4, 2021, in McAllen. Mr. Sanchez was preceded in death by his parents, Alvaro and Maurilia Sanchez. Mr. Sanchez is survived by his two daughters, Amanda Joy Sanchez, and Abigail Joy Sanchez; eight siblings, Janie (Oscar) Escamilla, Alonso (Pat) Sanchez, Thelma (Jorge) Garza, Arnold (Elsa) Sanchez, Andres Sanchez, Arturo (Hilda) Sanchez, Sonia (Jesse) Vasquez, and Alex (Margaret) Sanchez; numerous nieces nephews; mother of his two daughters, Esther Sanchez. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7p.m. rosary, Thursday, March 11, 2021, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be at 1 p.m. Friday, March 12, 2021, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
