MARIA BERTA CRUZ EDINBURG - Maria Berta Cruz, 85, entered eternal rest Wednesday, March 3, 2021, in Edinburg. Mrs. Cruz was preceded in death by her husband Pablo Cruz; daughter, Gracie Rodriguez; her parents, Gerardo and Benita Salinas; numerous siblings. Mrs. Cruz is survived by her five children, Sylvia Cruz, Mary (Roger) Salazar, Cynthia (Rodolfo) Acevedo, Brenda (Luis) Balderaz, and Irene (Amadeo) Sanchez; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; three siblings, Frank (Socorro) Salinas, Mary H. Postel, and Patsy Garcia; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 p.m to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Celebration of Life service, Sunday, March 7, 2021, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
