Edinburg, Texas Severa R. Flores June 29, 1942 January 25, 2021 On Monday, January 25, 2021 Heaven welcomed our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend Mrs. Severa R. Flores. Severa was born June 29, 1942 in Alamo, Texas. Severa was a life long resident of Edinburg and member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg for many years. Severa enjoyed dancing, reading the bible, family gatherings, among many other things. She was a beautiful, selfless woman, who was an amazing role model to her six children. Severa truly lived life to its fullest. Severa is now reunited with her beloved husband Santos Flores Sr. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Santos Flores Jr., Sylvia Flores, Frank Flores, Cynthia (Leonel III) Guerra, David Flores, Richard(Jeanette) Flores; 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; Her siblings- Anita Cavazos, Bertha Garza, Santos Garza and Rodolfo Ramon. A gathering of family and friends with limited viewing will be Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with the recital of the Holy Rosary to begin at 6:00 pm at Legacy Chapels, 4610 South Jackson Rd. in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be celebated on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
