Candida "Candy" Garza Hidalgo- Candida "Candy" Garza, 92, died Friday, December 19, 2014, in Edinburg. Mrs. Garza is preceded in death by her husband Julio Garza; two children, Olivia Garza Gonzalez and Braulio Garza; parents,Jose Jesus & Maria Belen Murillo; four sisters, Guadalupe, Josefina, Josie and Theresa Murillo; five brothers, Juan Andres, Andres Juan, Juan, Roberto and Fernando Murillo.Mrs. Garza is survived by eight children, Julio (Piedad) Garza, Jr., Emilia (Russell) March, Maria (Bernardo) Acuna, Maria Rosario Garza, Sylvia Garza, Ernesto Garza, Juan A. (Rosie) Garza and Julio (Belinda) Garza III; seven sisters, Elenor Hernandez, Carmen, Elvira, Dolores, Mary, Rosario and Gloria Murillo; three brothers, Andres Murillo Jr., Tom,and Roberto Murillo; numerous grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.Visitation will be from 3pm to 9pm with at 7pm rosary, Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd. in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 9am Monday, December 22, 2014, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hidalgo. Interment will follow at Hidalgo City Cemetery.Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
