GLORIA PEÑA PALACIOS EDINBURG - Gloria Peña Palacios, 71, entered eternal rest on Monday, September 21, 2020, in McAllen. Mrs. Palacios was preceded in death by her parents, Santos and Consuelo Peña. Mrs. Palacios is survived by her husband, Arnoldo Palacios; seven children, John (Lourdes) Peña, Melissa Najera, Maria (Michael) Zmija, Patricia (Eddie) Trujillo, Laura (Luis) Cayetano, Ida (Eddie) Vega, and Israel A. Palacios; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four sisters, Janie (Vito) Martinez, Alice Medrano, Neida (Nacho) Diaz, Stella Campos; three brothers, Santos (Heidi) Peña, Oscar Peña, and Noe (Rebecca) Peña; numerous nieces and nephews. A private memorial service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research 1820 West Webster Ave. Suite 304 Chicago, Il. 60614. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinurg.
