ELIDA S. NERI EDINBURG - Elida S. Neri, 79, entered eternal rest on Friday, September 18, 2020, in Houston surrounded by her family. Mrs. Neri was preceded in death by her three sons, Raul, Ramiro, and Rodolfo Rodriguez; her parents, Roman and Guadalupe Salinas; two siblings, Reynaldo Salinas, and Estela Salinas Alviso. Mrs. Neri is survived by her husband, David Neri; seven children, Arminda R. (Reyes) Cepeda, Maria Guadalupe Rodriguez, Hercilia (Victor) Varelas, Vanessa R. (Evaristo) Moreno, Evelia R. (Rosalio) Perez, Dahlia Rodriguez, Elena R. (Abraham) Ballesteros; numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; six siblings, Hercilia G. Rodriguez, Enedina G. Martinez, Ma. Magdalena Salinas, Elvia Guadalupe Salinas, Jesus Roman Salinas, and Gerardo Salinas; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 p.m to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Tuesday, September 22, 2020, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral service are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
