Josefina Gonzalez

San Juan - Josefina Gonzalez passed away on September 1, 2014 at her residence in San Juan, surrounded by her family. She was born on January 23, 1943 in China, N.L., MX to Juan and Eusebia Lozano. She is preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Teresa Garza. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Jesus J. Gonzalez; children, Javier Gonzalez (Maria Gerarda), Dora Elvia Gonzalez, Gerardo Gonzalez (Sonia), Jaime Gonzalez (Yadira), Julio Gonzalez (Virginia), Juan Gonzalez (Martha), Sonia Gonzalez - Reyes (Ismael), Marisol Gonzalez-Castro (Juan Castro), and Jorge Gonzalez (Maggie), she is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and siblings; Guadalupe Lozano (Leonora), Orfila Garcia (Mario), Juan Lozano (Amanda), Ramona Laguna, Matilde Pecina, and Jesus Lozano. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a rosary beginning at 7:00pm at Legacy Funeral Home, 4610 S. Jackson Rd., in Edinburg. A Chapel Service will take place at 10:00am on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Legacy Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. The family is in the care of Legacy Funeral Home of Edinburg.
