Lidia C. Monrreal

Donna, Texas Lidia C. Monrreal,62, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her daughters home in Mercedes. Lidia was born December 17, 1957 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Juan Carmona and Josefa (Mendoza) Carmona. Lidia had lived in Donna for most of her life. Lidia was full of life. She was a fun loving person. She loved and enjoyed family gatherings, especially with her grandchildren. Lidia loved to garden, loved Chinese food and loved her dogs. Lidia truly lived life to its fullest. She will forever be in the hearts of her family and those that came to know. She was preceded in death by her father; Her son- Gabriel Carmona Toscano and Baby Cindy Toscano. Lidia is survived by her five children- Cindy Carmona Toscano, Fermin Carmona Toscano, Lidia Toscano; Her mother Josefa Mendoza Carmona; Her brother-Daniel Carmona; Her Sisters- Gracie Briones, Irma Carmona, Linda Carmona; Eleven Grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at the Legacy Chapels,4610 South Jackson Rd. in Edinburg from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Graveside service will be at 2:00 pm at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Legacy Chapels of Edinburg.
