DOLORES M. ORTIZ EDINBURG - Dolores M. Ortiz, 89, went to be with our Lord, Saturday, March 21, 2020, in Edinburg surrounded by her family. Mrs. Ortiz was preceded in death by her parents, Alberto and Maria Martinez; two sisters, Maria Elena Alderete, and Irma Alcorta; her brother, Rodolfo Martinez. Mrs. Ortiz is survived by her three children, Birdie McVaney, Toni (Esteban) Sanchez, and Victoria (Remijio) Gomez; 8 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Alberto and Arturo Martinez; her sister, Alicia Chavez; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation (Limited) will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary (Webcast) Tuesday, March 24, 2020, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg, interment will follow. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
