Briana L. Fernandez

BRIANA L. FERNANDEZ MCALLEN - Briana L. Fernandez, 21, entered eternal sleep Tuesday, March 3, 2020, in McAllen surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Ercelia Jasso. Briana attended Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in McAllen. She graduated from McAllen Memorial High School in 2017, and loved to volunteer at Cathey Middle School. Briana enjoyed playing sports, soccer being her favorite. She will be dearly missed and will be forever loved by all who knew her. Briana is survived by her parents, Javier and Jennifer L. Fernandez; her sister, Jocelyn Fernandez; maternal grandmother, Cissy Tyler; paternal grandfather, Noe Fernandez; her three uncles, Robert R. Tyler, Robert (Raquel) Tellez Jr., and Arthur (Holly) Tellez; four cousins, Desiree Tellez, Tiffanie Tellez, Robert R. Tyler II, and Nikki Tyler. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m .with a 7 p.m. Celebration of Life service, Sunday, March 8, 2020, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, March 8, 2020, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
