Edinburg, Texas Mr. Juan Jose Huerta,82, entered rest Saturday, February 29, 2020 surrounded by his family in Edinburg. Juan was born February 8, 1938 in Linares,NL.Mexico to Francisco Escobar and Concepcion Huerta. Juan was a long time resident of Edinburg. He enjoyed being out doors, tending to his garden. Juan was overall a good "handyman". Juan will forever be in the hearts of his wife, daughter son and the extended family. Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 54 years Elida Villarreal Huerta; His daughter-Marisol H. Salinas(Miguel Angel Salinas), Julio C. Huerta(Maria D. Huerta); Grandchildren-Emily Salinas, Miguel Salinas, Angel Salinas,Jasmine Huerta, Julio C. Huerta Jr, Mathew Huerta, and Six Siblings. A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at Legacy Chapels,4610 South Jackson Rd. in Edinburg from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with the recital of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass ill be Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park cemetery in Edinburg. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Legacy Chapels of Edinburg.
