Elidio Zurita Rodriguez

Edinburg, Texas Mr. Elidio Zurita Rodriguez,89, entered into eternal rest Saturday, February 29, 2020 at DHR Health Hospice in Edinburg surrounded by his family. Elidio was born in Gunajuato, Mexico to Jose and Soledad (Rodriguez) Zurita. Elidio was a long time resident of Edinburg. He loved agriculture and the out doors. He will be dearly missed by his family and those that came to know him. He was preceded in death by his parents. Elidio is survived by his wife- Candelaria Lopez Arroyo Zurita; His children- Alfredo (Maria Elena) Zurita, Maria Luisa (Odilon) Ramirez, Jose (Carmen) Zurita, Manuel (Maria Guadalupe) Zurita, Maria Guadalupe Zurita, Alvaro (Liliana) Zurita, Maria de Jesus (Jose Lopez) Zurita; His Brothers and Sisters-Felix, Salvador, Miguel, Enedina,Esther, Abigail, and Eva; 35 grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, March 1, 2020 at Legacy Chapels,4610 South Jackson Rd. in Edinburg from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service to begin at 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian burial rites will be Monday, March 2, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Legacy Chapels of Edinburg.
