JUANITA M. CANTU MCALLEN - Juanita M. Cantu, 69, entered eternal sleep on Tuesday, February 11, 2020, in Edinburg. Ms. Cantu was preceded in death by her mother, Eloisa De La Rosa Mata. Ms. Cantu is survived by her two sons, Orlando (Flor) Cantu, and Daniel Cantu; two grandchildren, Nicolas and Matthew Cantu; her father, Ascension Mata; four brothers, Vicente, Chon, Lupe, and Robert Mata; her sister, Celia Delgado; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Thursday, February 13, 2020, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Friday, February 14, 2020 at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
