GUADALUPE TOBIAS

EDINBURG - Guadalupe Tobias, 80, went to be with our Lord, Thursday, February 14, 2019, in Edinburg surrounded by her family. Born in Mier Y Noriega, Nuevo Leon, Mexico; she had lived in Edinburg most of her life. Mrs. Tobias was an active member of Christian Life Church in Ediburg. Mrs. Tobias is preceded in death by her parents, Porfirio Moreno and Damasia Alfaro; her brother, Placido Moreno.

Mrs. Tobias is survived by her husband, Ezequiel Tobias; eight children, Moises (Margarita) Tobias, Martha (Juan) Rangel, Sara (Jorge) Ochoa, Esther (Juan) Rivera, Blanca E. (Eleazar) Duarte, Gregorio (Maria Leonor) Tobias, Elida (Tomas) Maldonado, and Mayra (Roel) Salinas; 32 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; her sister, Isabel Vargas; numerous, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service, Sunday, February 17, 2019, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, February 18, 2019, at Christian Life Church 321 North M. Road in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
